This family portrait experience is perfect for busy families who value capturing memories but have a hard time finding extra time in their schedule to plan. We will go over all of the important details during your pre-session consultation so all you have to do is show up on session day and enjoy time with your family!

These sessions are booked all year long and are designed to let us to take our time, move around and truly capture emotion.

1. Booking & Planning

Book your session and reserve your spot! You'll receive a guide that will go over what to expect before, during, and after your session, as well as some tips for styling everyone's outfits so you can all look and feel your best.

2. Photoshoot Day

This is my favorite part! Your memories are the most important thing to me, and we want your session to be a time for you to just be yourselves and enjoy it. Have fun together. Laugh a lot. And I’ll take care of the rest!

3. Gallery Delivery

1 Week: social media sneak peek with one of our favorite photos

15 days: online gallery delivery with all of your final retouched, high-resolution images

Where is the best place and time for our photo session?

All sessions are planned outdoors and typically at golden hour which is about 60 minutes before sunset. There are many wonderful locations all around Northern Virginia area that are amazing for just this. I love shooting in wide-open natural spaces because the light is divine, especially during golden hour.

What can I expect during Our Portrait session?

We will spend an evening together laughing and creating memories that you will have for a lifetime. During the session I will direct every pose and prompt in a way that is child friendly. My sessions focus more on creating an environment that is moment-based more than posed. All you have to do is show up and love on the ones around you - I got the rest!

When will I receive my photos?

Your images will be ready within 15 days of the session. You will receive an email that contains the gallery link along with detailed instructions on how to download any digital files that come with your session or how to order prints! If you decide you want more images than your package includes, I do offer package upgrades or a la carte pricing on individual images.

Do I have to order prints through you?

My packages include a print release, so you have the freedom to print your memories at whatever photo lab you choose. However, I love it when clients order through me because I know they'll be getting quality products!

The family portrait experience is $500. 

Perfect for families, first birthdays and maternity portraits. 

Portrait sessions include:
• Pre-session consultation
• Personalized preparation guide 
• 1 hour of session time together at an outdoor location 
• Private online gallery to view all of your hand-edited images (40+) approximately 2 weeks after our session.
• Your choice of 20 finished digital images with a print release

We will work together to choose the perfect location for your session, which could be a local park or at a place that’s special to you and your family.
